“Our members told us that they wanted more business conferences, closer to home, so it’s easier for them and their staff to attend. We started thinking about a ‘regional’ event, but thought hold on, why shouldn’t this be the event for Tasmanian business owners, regardless of where they are based. We’re looking forward to a strong local turnout, as well as the opportunity to show Devonport off to businesspeople from Launceston, Hobart and beyond.” said DCCI President, Claire Connelly. “We don’t have global speakers of this calibre on the island that often, but we’ve been able to make it happen thanks to our great partners and sponsors.” Mrs Connelly said.
The DCCI estimates that attendees will directly spend between $0.25m and $0.5m in Devonport over the two days.
Tickets may sell out and early bird pricing ends 5pm 28 March 2025. Visit: https://tasbusconf.au/ for more information and tickets.
