Taste the World

If you are a local hospitality business, with a passion for multi-cultural cuisine, Devonport Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) welcomes your interest to participate in the inaugural event Taste the World in Devonport – festival to celebrate the international taste, culture and history of our city. The weekend will commence with a ‘Spice Lane’ event on Friday 8 November 5 – 9pm followed by a weekend of diverse offerings in participating venues across the city. At 5pm Friday 8 November a flag parade will start at from the Rooke St Mall and make its way to Spice Lane (between the paranaple centre and the Visitor Information Centre).The fun will continue with multicultural entertainment, courtesy of the International Café, on Saturday morning from 11am in the Rooke St Mall.Interested performers who would like to participate in this entertainment please email libby.dobson@welcomeculturalservices.au.View Vendor Expression of Interest
