President’s Message

As we prepare to celebrate the 2025 DCCI Business Excellence Awards, I’m energised by the momentum building across our business community.

In just the past month, we’ve seen that energy in action, from the Grand Opening of the Tasmanian Digestive Centre, to our Retail Forum with Business Tasmania, Central Coast Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Central Coast Council, featuring retail expert Dr Louise Grimmer. These events aren’t just calendar highlights, they’re catalysts for connection, confidence and community pride.

This year’s Business Excellence Award finalists are bold, diverse and inspiring. They reflect the innovation, resilience and heart that define Devonport’s business landscape. These awards are about more than recognition, they’re about telling our stories, lifting each other up, and inspiring what’s next.  Join us on 15 November for a night of excellence, full details and finalists below!

To our finalists: congratulations. To our members, sponsors and volunteers, thank you. Your support makes this celebration possible.

As the end of the year fast approaches, we’re not slowing down, we’re thrilled to partner with Clifford Craig Foundation for a special International Men’s Day event focused on men’s health and wellbeing. It’s shaping up to be one another unforgettable conversation of the year.

Take care, and I look forward to seeing you soon.
