2026 Women in Business Summit Sells Out – Backed by Overwhelming Partner Support

The Devonport Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) is proud to announce that the 2026 Women in Business Summit has officially sold out, reinforcing its position as Tasmania’s most impactful International Women’s Day (IWD) event and a centrepiece of leadership, empowerment and community connection.

Hosted on Friday 6 March at the paranaple Convention Centre, the Summit is the only conference held alongside IWD in Tasmania, delivering a day of inspiration, real conversations and meaningful connection.

Last year’s inaugural Summit set a powerful benchmark, made unforgettable by the support of sponsors, partners and attendees. That support has only grown stronger in 2026.

DCCI President Claire Connelly said the sold‑out response reflects the region’s shared commitment to elevating women in leadership and investing in the future of local business.

“The momentum behind this event is extraordinary. Our partners have wrapped around this Summit with genuine belief in its purpose and impact. Their support ensures we can deliver an experience that is ambitious, transformative and deeply connected to our community.”

This year’s program builds on the Chamber’s mission to empower women, amplify local voices and drive meaningful economic and social impact across Devonport and the wider region. It brings new voices to the stage, leaders Devonport hasn’t heard before, including the legendary Robyn Moore AM, alongside a stronger platform for local talent and high‑impact national speakers.

With a growing audience and an ethos shaped by the 2026 global IWD theme “Give to Gain”, the Summit continues its evolution from a single‑day celebration to a movement for leadership, collaboration and lasting change.

Attendees can expect:
Inspiration from transformative keynote speakers
Connection with like‑minded leaders, innovators and changemakers
Local stories worth celebrating, highlighting the power of women shaping Tasmania’s future
Practical tools, insights and conversations designed to build confidence and capability

“It’s your time, to invest in yourself, your leadership and your business,” Ms Connelly said. “Last year was truly memorable, but 2026 is on track to be even more extraordinary.”

DCCI extends heartfelt thanks to every partner backing this year’s Summit. Their belief in the power of women in leadership is the reason this event thrives.
