Cate Dempsey

DCCI Administration

Cate joined the Chamber in 2023 to fulfil the Administration role.

Despite being a Devonport native, Cate spent most of her professional life on the Mainland. After serving in the RAAF for 7 years, she established a CRM consultancy in Sydney, which she operated for 21 years.

In 2021, she sold the business and left behind the chaos of the city to pursue her dream of sailing around Australia. Following her voyage, Cate returned home to Devonport to enjoy the advantages of family and the splendour of Tasmania.
